Zangya is the supporting female antagonist from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound. She is the only henchwoman of the main antagonist, Bojack, and she hails from an alien race called the "Race of Hera" along with the rest of her crew
History[]
Bojack Unbound[]
After Bojack's release from King Kai's planet, which was destroyed by Cell's Self Destruct as well killing Goku (who teleported there with him via Instant Transmission), King Kai, Gregory the Cricket and Bubbles the Monkey in the process. Bojack and his crew, The Galaxy Soliders, traveled to Earth to eliminate the strongest fighters there at a special Martial Arts World Tournament, The Intergalactic World Tournament (hosted by Mr. Satan and sponsored by millionaire X.S. Cash for his son's birthday) and then continue their conquest in universal conquest. In one of the Battle Zones, a lava room, within the whole Intergalactic Tournament, Zangya encounters Krillin, whom he was initially unaware that she's evil and one of Bojack's crew and assumed she was one of the tournament participants. Because of her beauty, Krillin was awe-struck and unable to attack her, which gave Zangya the chance of easily defeating him and rendering him unconscious. After that, she takes his unconscious body to Bojack. Later in the film, Zangya encounters Krillin's friends, Gohan, Tien Shinhan and Yamcha, who they all confront all of her teammates(minus Kogu, who was killed by Future Trunks earlier) and boss, Bojack, Zangya then easily defeats Yamcha, when the latter, along with Tien(who was also easily defeated by one of her teammates, Bujin), attempt to attack Bojack.
Zangya and the rest of team,engage battle with Gohan and initially gain the upper hand on the young Saiyan, enough to ensnare him with her Psycho Thread attack along with other Galaxy Soldiers for Bojack to nearly finish him off. Future Trunks, Piccolo and Vegeta eventually arrive at the conflict, who they are also shortly easily defeated, notably Zangya thrashes Trunks while he was trapped with Bujin's Psycho Thread. Gohan, still standing was overwhelmed by hisand nearly crushed to death by Bojack's bear hug, until Goku comes from Other World to save him and encourages him to use his true full power, like he did against Cell. Gohan then transforms into Super Saiyan 2. The Galaxy Soldiers attempt to restrain him with the energy threads on him, but this time it's useless. Paralyzed in fear of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan's power, Zangya was mercilessly killed by Bojack, when the latter used her as decoy to shoot an energy blast through her from behind in attempt to stop Gohan's onslaught, but to no avail.
Fusion Reborn[]
Zangya, along with Bojack and the rest of the Galaxy Soldiers, makes a cameo appearance in the 12th Dragon Ball Z movie, along with past DBZ villains, when Janemba's existence and power caused a dimensional opening rift between Earth and Other World, she and the other countless villains to escape from Hell and make their way to Earth. She was scared off(albeit off-screen) along with the other villains, when an Adult Gohan defeats and kills a resurrected Frieza with one punch followed by an energy blast.
