The Female Villains Wiki
Monique

Monique Kohler (Gisella Arden) is a minor antagonist in the 1966 Italian spy movie Agent 505: Death Trap in Beirut. She is married to a convict named Fred Kohler, who we later learn is the primary antagonist.

Monique first appears by the pool where Richard Blake the protagonist is talking to Inspector Bernard. She dives into the pool and places a microphone near Blake so that his conversation will be overheard by a mysterious figure who we presume is her employer. After an attempt is made on Blake's life, he returns to his hotel room and finds that his briefcase has been stolen; he traces it to Monique's room where she is dressed in a towel and is changing from her swimsuit. When Blake inquires about the briefcase, Monique claims that she is in town for her performance at a club called the Red Cockatoo. Monique said a man she met at the club paid her $1000 to spy on him, so she took the case and planted the microphone.

Later, Blake meets Monique in the club where she is performing an act that involves shooting objects while blindfolded. The two talk briefly, and Blake reveals that he knows her identity before they depart. Blake returns to the club later that night and overhears Monique discussing the evil plot with her husband and mentioning her concerns about Blake's knowledge of them.

Monique does not appear for some time until we see Blake's female companion Denise Letienne (Genevieve Cluny) being led to her in handcuffs. Monique grabs Denise's shirt and slaps her in the face while discretely slipping her the key to her handcuffs; Monique then goes to the car where her husband is waiting for her. Fred Kohler describes how his plan is very nearly complete, but Monique retorts that she used to be in love with him until he began killing and torturing for pleasure. With this, Monique exits the car and points her gun at her husband, but before she can shoot Fred, his henchman drives his car straight at her. She runs from the car but ultimately stumbles and is run over by the henchman who coldly says, "That takes care of her."
