Vicky (Laura Edwards) is a redeemed antagonist in the 2007 film adaptation of Hairspray. She is first introduced during "The Nicest Kids in Town." She is introduced off screen, along with Joey, Mikey and Becky. It is during this scene that is it revealed that she is tied for 4th place in the Miss Teenage Hairspray pageant.
When Tracy enters the studio at WYZT to audition for the vacant spot on the Corny Collins Show, Vicky is rehearsing with Velma Von Tussle and the other council members.
During the Miss Teenage Hairspray pageant, Vicky and Lou Ann introduce Corny. Vicky finishes the competition tied for 4th place with Shelley. During "You Can't Stop the Beat," Vicky helps to integrate The Corny Collins Show by dancing with Tyrone.
