Serial Designation J is one of the current major antagonists in the 2021 Web Series “Murder Drones”.

J was originally a simple Worker Drone serving as a household servant for a young girl named Tessa and her family, alongside fellow drones V and N. J was often frustrated by N’s incompetence and often physically and verbally abused him whenever he made a mistake, though she would usually put up an act of innocence whenever their owner Tessa was around.

When the human colonized expoplanet Copper-9 underwent an apocalyptic disaster, resulting in the deaths of its human occupants but leaving the residing worker drones functioning and alive, the drones parent company “JCJenson in SPAAAAAACE!!!” converted N, V and J into “Disassembly Drones” using a mysterious program known as the Absolute Solver, with the new purpose to eliminate the worker drones of Copper-9, less they go rogue and become a threat to humanity. In her new form, J had access to a large arsenal of weapons, as well as bladed wings and a tail with a nanite acide injector at the end. J was assigned as squad leader due to her undying loyalty to the company and humanity as a whole.

After arriving on Copper-9, J and her squad would start to massacre any worker drones they found, eventually creating a massive spire of corpses of which they used as shelter from the sun, as due to a seeming design flaw, the Disassembly Drones required constant consumption of worker drone oil and avoidance of sunlight otherwise they risk overheating and dying. Despite this, J had complete faith in the company’s plan and believed she and her squad would be well rewarded if they continued to kill the most workers compared to other Disassembly Drone squads on the planet, a belief only reinforced by the company seemingly rewarding them with JCJenson branded products such as pens. During this time, J would continue to abuse her co-worker N due to his overly cheerful and dim-witted demeanor causing him to be incompetent as a Disassembly Drone. Despite this, N continued to admire J and call her “awesome” despite her abuse toward him.

Several years after their initial arrival on Copper-9, J’s plans would be upended when a rebellious teenage Worker Drone named Uzi would arrive at her squads spire while she and V were out hunting, searching for a part to complete her homemade railgun she hoped to use to fight the Disassembly Drones. N, having arrived back early, was the first one to receive the brunt of it’s power, only for him to regenerate the damage taken using repair nanites. Due to an error, N mistook Uzi for a new member of their squad and told her about V and J, as well as showing her the space pod they arrived on the planet in. After pointing out that the pod could be repaired into being able to leave the planet and that the company would likely dispose of them once the workers are gone, Uzi was forced to flee upon J and V’s arrival.

J, noticing N’s error, quickly fixed him by slapping him in the head, causing him to realize his mistake and the danger that Uzi’s weapon posed to them. N quickly stuttered out an excuse and went off to pursue Uzi, leaving J and V suspicious. N would eventually break into the nearby worker drone colony, killing several workers and nearly killing Uzi as well, only for him to restrain himself when he inadvertently causes a falling out between Uzi and her father Khan. J arrives along with V, legitimately impressed at N’s feat and congratulating him, granting him a JCJenson branded pen for his efforts.

N, however, recalling Uzi’s words, begins to question the companies true motives and feelings towards robots, voicing his concerns to J and revealing his prior interaction with a worker drone. Glad at finally having an excuse to dispose of him, J infects N with a virus, stating that the worker drones are corrupted and that as a result, N may now be corrupted due to interacting with one. She leaves N to die as she flies off to join V with slaughtering the rest of the workers. However, Uzi, who had overheard the conversation, decides to remove the virus from N on the condition he help her save the colony. Uzi also let him know the true nature of J’s treatment towards him as being more mean than actually helpful like he assumed.

J and V, having cornered the rest of the workers, are confronted by Uzi and N. N attempts to give some “constructive criticism” to J about her treatment of him, but she simply brushed him off as a traitor and vowed to “right-size” his existence. She is caught off guard however, when Uzi throws the pen she had given N at her at a high enough speed that it pierces one of the yellow sensor lights on her head, causing her immense pain. As N fights with V, Uzi and J continue to trade attacks, J eventually using an EMP to temporarily deactivate Uzi. Due to her overconfidence, J chooses to monologue to Uzi about how she had a lot of guts for a “barely sentient toaster” and revealing she had previously had prey fight back before, just not to Uzi’s extent. During her monologue however, Uzi takes the opportunity to quickly grab her nanite acid injector tail and jabbed it into her foot, causing her to grab her leg in pain and spout several corporate buzzwords in place of swearing. She then tripped and fell backward, giving Uzi the opportunity to aim her railgun at her and warn her not to say another buzzword or she’d pull the trigger. Despite her fear, J still muttered out “equity partnership…” and Uzi blasted her point blank with the railgun, completely annihilating the upper half of her body.

J’s burnt corpse would remain in that spot for several days until a worker drone named Frank was assigned to fix a hole in the roof created by N and Uzi when they took their leave after the fight. J’s core, a strange flesh-covered device with a small “singularity” inside of it briefly took remote control of J’s remains, moving it behind several crates. Frank investigates and finds a fleshy ribcage inside J’s corpse and her core which detaches itself from her body and creates a massive worm-like creature that sports a copy of J’s twin-tailed hairstyle on it’s head, dubbed “Eldritch J”. The monster eats Frank and then begins using holograms of different drones to lure several drones away from safety so it can consume them to obtain material to repair J. Eventually, Uzi, N, and Uzi’s friend Thad attempt to confront the creature, only for it to kidnap Thad using a human-hand like appendage and lure them to a cryo-freeze chamber. After Uzi and N free Thad the creature reveals itself to them and explains it’s purpose, before taunting Uzi with a hologram of her mother, implying it is much more than a simple repair program.

Eldritch J destroys Uzi’s railgun, but Uzi is saved by N and the creature is vaporized when the railgun explodes, leaving the core to attempt to sneak away, only to be impaled by N’s tail, it then collapses into the singularity and floats away. A couple weeks later, a worker drone named Reid was outside searching for his glasses when he witnessed the arrival of 3 new landing pods, 2 of which crash land while the 3rd lands upright. Out of the pod leaps a now fully-grown Tessa, wearing a space suit and wielding a large sword, which she uses to decapitate Reid. Out of the pod then emerges a now fully-reconstructed J, implying the repair process was successful after all. Tessa remarks that she and J have “maintenance work” to do as the two walk off into the snowstorm…
