The villainous Stephanie Federman
Stephanie Federman (Kayla Mae Maloney) is a minor (remorseful) villainess from "Seven Feet Under", episode 6.09 of Crossing Jordan (airdate March 21, 2007). She was a high school student and best friends with two of her classmates, Melissa Ripton and Cindy Tallridge. Secretly, the girls moonlit as prostitutes, working out of the Wycombe Hotel where Melissa worked making reservations over the phone.
One night, when Cindy didn't come over to Melissa's house after seeing a client, Stephanie went with Melissa to check on her--and the girls were shocked to find Cindy dead in the hotel room. While Stephanie wanted to call the police, Melissa (knowing the police would uncover the prostitution ring if they came) convinced her to help her get rid of Cindy's body, having her help wrap her body in a bedsheet and dispose of the body in an open grave.
When Cindy's body was found and the investigation led to the discovery of the sex cam website Cindy ran, both Stephanie and Melissa claimed Cindy wasn't being serious with the website and kept quiet about their own ililcit activities. But Stephanie and Melissa's secret was revealed by Russell Berman, a client of the girls who was interrogated regarding the investigation. Melissa later confessed to what she and Stephanie had done the night of Cindy's murder and helped them uncover Cindy's killer--revealed to be Melissa's father Frank, who had had a tryst with Cindy and killed her when she threatened to tell Melissa. Frank was arrested, and Stephanie and Melissa were also brought into custody for their actions.
