Redeemed villainess Olivia Mazzarino

Olivia Mazzarino (Alicia Minshew) is a minor villainess from the 6th season of Royal Pains. She was the estranged wife of businessman Ray Mazzarino.

Olivia fell deeply in love with Ray, but left him when she grew tired of Ray's workaholic and adulterous tendencies. The season's prevent events have a remorseful Ray enlisted help from designer Paige Lawson (the wife of Hank Lawson's brother/business partner Evan) in decorating his new home with things reminiscent of their past relationship as a means of winning her back. Ray also invited Olivia to a dinner where he planned to reconcile with her in episode 6.06, "Everybody Loves Ray, Man", only for Olivia not to show up.

After the house was complete, Paige and Ray engaged in a light-hearted pillow fight while celebrating. Unfortunately, at that moment, Olivia arrived at the house and witnessed the exchange. Thinking Paige was Ray's lover, she took a gun (having one due to belonging to a family of cops) and fired a bullet into the house, shooting Ray in the shoulder. Ray saw and recognized Olivia's car as she drove away, but kept silent and refused to report the incident to the police to protect her.

Olivia didn't make her first onscreen appearance until the preceding episode, "Hankmed on the Half Shell". Paige went to Ray's house to talk about the shooting and it was revealed that Olivia had already arrived--and was visibly miffed at Paige's arrival. But upon learning the true nature of her relationship with Ray, Olivia apologized for being angry at Ray and the two reconciled with a kiss. Olivia was revealed as the shooter when she finally returned Paige's offer of a handshake, allowing her to notice the bruise on her hand caused by the gun's kickback. Paige also deduced that it was Olivia's electric car that she heard outside the house the night of the shooting and that Ray had lied about not recognizing the car to protect his wife. Olivia confessed to her action, saying she had become jealous at the thought of Ray with another woman and fired the bullet as a "warning shot". Ray forgave her, and Olivia further showed her remorse when Ray became sick from his injury, which was brought on by his rare colon disorder that impeded his body's ability to heal. Ray ultimately recovered, though, and it is implied that she and Ray fully repaired their marriage.
