The evil Marylin Thacker
Marylin Thacker (Swoosie Kurtz) was a villainess of "Failure is not a Factory-Installed Option", episode 2.03 of American Dad (airdate September 24, 2006). She was the wife of lieutenant Eddie Thacker. During the episode, Eddie came across the infamous "Golden Turd" among the debris of the suicide of its' previous owner Jim, who had killed himself by driving his car onto the train tracks after killing his friend Mikey to keep the gold for himself and finding out his wife was cheating on him.
Eddie snuck the gold into his coat and took it home to Marylin, who marveled at the sight and gushed about how they could buy a home in Boca to retire in. But the guilt-ridden Eddie insisted that he needed to do the right thing and return the gold to the police, causing Marylin to scream at Eddie about how she deserved to have her wishes realized for all the years she spent worrying about her husband in his dangerous profession. Eddie tried to talk sense into his wife, saying that she wasn't acting like herself and that the gold was influencing her mind. Marylin agreed and apologized to her husband before going to make them tea. But as she made it, the evil Marylin poured rat poison into Eddie's cup, flashing a sinister grin to the camera as she walked over to give the tea to him.
In episode 9.23, "Blagsnarst, a Love Story", Marylin was shown being executed for her husband's murder. Now older and weaker, Marylin apologized to her son Vincent Edmonds (who was watching her execution) before she was killed by lethal injection.
