Principal Evelyn Togar (Mary Woronov) is the main antagonist in the 1979 comedy film "Rock 'n' Roll High School".
Miss Togar is the principal at Vince Lombardi High School. She immediately becomes enemies with Riff Randall. Togar makes it her mission to take down Riff along with his favorite punk rock band, The Ramones.
Miss Togar was a cruel, strict and uptight woman who despises anything the teenagers are into. She claims that rock music is the main source of child rebellion and criminal activity and would unlawfully punish students for their passion for the music.
Togar notices that Riff has skipped school to obtain tickets for the Ramones concert, and angrily confronts her and her best friend, Kate. Miss Togar takes the tickets. Fortunately, they win a new pair of tickets on a radio contest.
Finally Togar manages to steal the students copies of the Ramones records and set a bonfire on campus. The students then start a riot and barricade themselves in the school, where they destroy all the school's files and records of the students. The Ramones then show up to play a free concert at the school and make Riff an honorary Ramone, much to the dismay of Togar.
When the police are summoned and demand that the students evacuate the building, they do so, but then the students and the Ramones burn down the school as a final act of youthful rebellion. Togar is last seen having a mental breakdown and is led away in a straight jacket. It's likely that she was fired from being the principal after being committed into a mental institution.
