Lucy Landfield (Linda Marshall) is an antagonist in the 1965 episode "The Girl From Philadelphia" for the TV comedy series "F Troop".
Lucy Landfield arrives at Fort Courage, a United States outpost in the Old West. She has come to surprise her old flame, Capt. Wilton Parmenter (Ken Berry). She immediately pans herself off as Lucy Landfield of the Philadelphia Landfield's, as if that is supposed to mean something to the soldiers of the outpost.
After confronting Capt. Parmenter, she tells him that she has convinced her father to get him a transfer back to Philadelphia. She tells him that fighting Indians is no life for an officer and a gentleman. She then tells him that now that he is an officer and a hero, he has nothing more to prove to her.
Suddenly, "Wrangler" Jane Angelica Thrift (Melody Patterson) is introduced to Lucy. Lucy insults her calling her a "real life cowboy". Lucy fires back that she didn't realize that Wilton's mother was coming in from the east.
Sergeant Morgan Sylvester O'Rourke (Fort Tucker) and Corporal Randolph Again (Larry Storch) figure that Lucy plans to take their friend back to Philadelphia. They also see that Wrangler Jane has been smitten by Wilton as well. They devise a plan to have Jane show off her skills with a gun. Wilton is definitely impressed with her gun skills, but Lucy gains back his attention by fainting a couple of times. Lucy then invites everyone to tea the following day and says that Wilton and her are announcing their engagement. Wilton is obviously shocked, but he does not know what to say.
Morgan and Randolph convince Jane that she needs to show her feminine side, and have her made up with a nice dress. When she shows up to the tea, Lucy and Wilton are shocked beyond belief. Lucy's jealousy begins to run rampant. She first announces that she is proud to announce that she has accepted Captain Wilton's hand in marriage. Wilton asks her when he asked Lucy for her hand. She replied that "Just before you entered into the Army dear, and I promised to wait for you forever". Jane butted in and said "Maybe he doesn't want you to wait anymore". Lucy replied, "Really, this is none of your affair". Lucy fired back, "You stay out of it you saddle store little hussy". Wilton had to step between the ladies to prevent them from a catfight.
When Jane attempted to leave, Lucy stepped on her dress, which caused it to rip leaving Jane humiliated in her petticoat. Lucy was rather proud of her doing.
Just then, a squaw named Flying Sparrow (Laurie Sibbald) shows up. Lucy meets her and asks her what her business is at this event. Flying Sparrow tells her that she is there to meet her husband. Lucy chuckles and responds that she must be mistaken, as no one here would fit that description. Flying Sparrow sees Wilton and announces that he is her husband.
Lucy tells Wilton that she will never forgive him for this, and slaps him in the face before leaving. This is the last we see of the lovely Lucy Landfield. However, this is not the end, as Jane and Flying Sparrow also slap Wilton and leave him all alone.
