Belle Crocker (Sherrie Rose) was a redeemed henchwoman in the 1990 episode "Ghost in the Machine" for the TV series "The Flash".  The 1990 version of Belle Crocker, was played by Lois Nettleton.

Belle Crocker, who was also known as Ghostess, was the henchwoman for The Ghost (Anthony Starke), who was also known as Russell, who attempted to extort money from the city in 1955.  The Ghost was a criminal genius, who was fascinated by the potential of television.  He therefore used a pirate transmitter to blackmail city officials and businessmen.  The Ghost and Belle planted bombs throughout downtown Central City, rigged to detonate on his signal if the city did not pay him $1 million.

The Nightshade came to the rescue and apparently blew up his lab and rescued Belle Crocker.  However, The Ghost used his cryogenics deep freeze room to survive into present day (1990).

In the meantime, Belle Crocker had gone straight and was living as a lounge singer.  While she was initially happy to see Russell back in her life, she could not handle the fact that he was still young, and she was near 60.

The Ghost planned to link himself directly to the city's network and take over every electrical system in North America.
