Molly

Redeemed bully Molly

Molly (Emma Grabinsky) is a redeemed villainess from "Mrs. Worthington," episode 4.04 of The Haunting Hour (airdate October 18, 2014).

In the episode, Molly constantly bullies her younger brother, Nate, and her evil nature is shown early in the episode. When Nate enters Molly's room asking for an eraser for one of his drawings, Molly acts rude to Nate, and then gets him in trouble with their mother when she planted her makeup on her homework and falsely claimed that Nate was going through her stuff. Nate ended up admonished, while Molly mocks her brother by stating that he can't do anything to stop her bullying.

When their mother has to work late, Molly is left in charge of Nate; news that dismays both siblings. Wanting a new dress for her upcoming prom, Molly ordered Nate to keep his distance from her, and tell their mother that they had fun together in order to make her look good. When Nate refused, the evil Molly placed one of Nate's art pencils inside a sharpener, callously ignoring Nate's pleas until he was forced to acquiesce. This act furthered Nate's desire for his latest drawing, Mrs. Worthington, to become real and punish Molly like she does in his drawings.

Shortly afterwards, Nate's wish comes true, and Mrs. Worthington appeared at their home and introduced herself as their new babysitter. After seeing her tortuous objects, Nate attempted to warn Molly about her and tried to convince her to act nicer to him, only for Molly to ignore the warnings and continue to act rudely while dining. As a result, Mrs. Worthington made eyeballs appear in Molly's soup, which caused Molly to scream in horror. Molly's attempt to call her mother about Mrs. Worthington resulted in the sitter posing as her mother and admonishing Molly for her bad behavior, and this was followed by a scorpion being placed on Molly's head. Molly was later ordered by Mrs. Worthington to apologize for what she did to one of Nate's art pencils, only for Molly to refuse. Mrs. Worthington punished Molly by tying her up with the use of her voodoo doll, and when Molly lashed out, she ended up with her mouth zipped shut.

Molly had taken a look at Nate's drawings of Mrs. Worthington punishing her, and after Nate returned to save his sister after seeing Mrs. Worthington as an evil and sadistic disciplinarian, Molly came to the realization that she really was immensely mean to Nate, with her remorse completing the episode's double turn. Molly ended up freed by Nate when he defeated Mrs. Worthington, and the episode's final scenes showed the siblings getting along, as Molly praised Nate's artistic talents.
