The evil Marika
Marika (Maddie Nichols) is a villainess from the pilot episode of 9-1-1 (airdate January 3, 2018). She is a young mother who gave birth to a baby boy during the episode's events.
As revealed in the episode, Marika turned heel after giving birth by flushing her baby (which was born prematurely) down the toilet. The LAFD and LAPD patrol sergeant Athena Grant were sent to the building after one of Marika's neighbors phoned operator Abby Clark regarding sounds of a baby crying inside the walls, and once the group arrived, it was concluded that the baby was flushed down
With that, Henrietta "Hen" Clark gave the warning to the rest of the tenants to not flush their toilets, and it was Athena finding a trail of blood during her search for the mother that led her to the evil Marika, who was bedridden inside her apartment. Marika and her baby were taken away in separate ambulances, with the villainess asking about her baby, which survived. Marika's fate was never revealed.
