The villainous Kelly Hicks
Kelly Hicks (Tracy Waterhouse) is the main villainess from iZombie's fourth season opener," "Are You Ready For Some Zombies?" (airdate February 26, 2018). She is the wife of Clint Hicks, a Seattle Seahawks superfan, and the mother of their son, Zorn (named after former Seahawks QB Jim Zorn).
Not only was Clint a devout Seahawks fan, he was also a devout zombie hater, mainly because the events of the end of Season Three kept him from working his dream job at CenturyLink Field, and led to him working at a brain past factory. Upon learning that Zorn became a zombie after engaging in a sexual act with one, Clint became enraged and kicked out Zorn; pushing him down a flight of stairs. As for Kelly, Clint forced her to choose between him and Zorn, and in response, Kelly killed Clint by placing him in the brain grinder. The villainess attempted to frame Doc Greeley, a San Francisco 49ers fan, for the murder, doing so by planting brain tubes in his bag knowing that he would return to the factory to put them back.
The episode's climax had Clive set to arrest Zorn for the murder once he and Liv returned to the Hicks' home, even after learning that Zorn was a zombie. After Liv received a vision of Clint physically abusing Zorn, Clive figured out Kelly's role as the killer and gave her a chance to confess to save Zorn. Kelly does, stating that Clint forced her to choose; after which Clive arrested Kelly for her husband's murder.
