Ambitious villainess Danielle Jackson
Danielle Jackson (Meagan Tandy) is a villainess from "Will You Accept This Rose?," episode 1.06 of The Mayor (airdate November 7, 2017). She is a meteorologist at a TV station in Fort Grey, California, as well as a former high school flame of the town's mayor, Courtney Rose.
Danielle was encountered by Courtney following her latest weather report, and after reminiscing, Courtney asked Danielle to go to a gala event with him, which Danielle accepted. During their date, Danielle took photos of herself with Courtney, with Courtney not realizing Danielle's actions until seeing a photo of them in the newspaper. The public photo put Courtney in the proverbial doghouse with Amber Powell, as they had went on a pair of dates and he had planned to take Amber to the event before being approached by Danielle.
On their second date, Danielle continued taking photos of her and Courtney, and it was at that moment that her devious plans were revealed. As Courtney realized, Danielle was using him and his status as mayor to get publicity, and her ambitious persona was revealed when Danielle stated that both her job and his role as mayor were stepping stones, as she expressed a desire to leave Fort Grey and move on to bigger things. After realizing that Danielle was using him, Courtney abruptly ended their date and left his payment, with the callous Danielle only showing concern over whether or not Courtney left enough for her to get dessert.
