Conspirator Claire Samuels, posing as Mandy Sutton
Claire Samuels (Deanna Moore) was the minor (redeemed) villainess from "Limelight," episode 6.13 of Castle (airdate January 20, 2014). She is the body double for pop star Mandy Sutton; being paid by Mandy to stand in for her.
It was later revealed that Claire was part of a fiendish scheme concocted by Mandy's mother, Marilyn, who was dismayed over her daughter's relationship with Zach Benton. Claire was paid by Marilyn to pose as Mandy and romantically engage with Mandy's ex-boyfriend Jesse Jones, while also allowing the pair to be photographed. The ruse was Marilyn's evil plan to end her daughter's relationship with Zach, as she saw Zach as a threat to Mandy's success, which Marilyn was living off of. The plan succeeds, and Zach broke up with Mandy, but afterwards, Claire became racked with guilt and planned confess everything to Mandy. However, Claire was lured to an alley by Marilyn, who bludgeoned Claire to death to silence her.
