Carmen (Carmen Electra) is the titular villainess from "Carmen Get It," episode 2.15 of Hope & Faith (airdate January 21, 2005). She is the former flame of baseball player Gary "The Gooch" Gucharez.
The Gooch had been dating Faith Fairfield, but their relationship was in jeopardy after Faith coerced him to appear in used car salesman Handsome Hal's commercial in the previous episode. Faith encountered Carmen at Gooch's house, as Carmen appeared as Faith attempted to make up with Gooch. It was revealed that Gooch and Carmen split six months prior, mainly due to Carmen never being supportive of his baseball career, though Carmen claimed to Gooch that she had changed. The two women then began competing for Gooch's affections, using Charley Shanowski's surprise birthday party as the form for their attempts to impress Gooch.
Carmen and Faith are at Gooch's home the next morning, while Gooch was at Devil's Point deciding between the two of them. At that moment, both women hear a phone message from a Japanese agent setting up a meeting with Gooch regarding playing for his team, the Hiroshima Carps, Faith is elated by the news and wants to tell Gooch, but Carmen responds by telling Faith that they would both lose Gooch if he went to Japan, leading her to suggest that they pretend that the call never happened. Carmen's heel persona was established with her callous comments, with Faith turning down her villainous rival's agreement to not tell Gooch.
The episode's climax had Faith and sister Hope Shanowski climbing Devil's Point so the former could tell Gooch, only for the evil Carmen to appear in her private helicopter and tell Gooch about Japan, doing so to outshine Faith. Gooch appears impressed with Carmen, believing that she had truly changed. Hope and Faith are spotted by the pair (after Faith falls into a crack), and it was at this point that Hope told Gooch that Faith made the climb to tell him the news. Gooch went to rescue Faith, only for Faith to tell him that he had to go to his flight on time. Carmen attempts to take Gooch away from the scene, but Gooch refused, stating that he couldn't leave Faith. The villainess disregarded Gooch's concern for Faith and later dumped him, while also snidely calling Gooch "pathetic" for going to Japan to continue his baseball career.
