Trish Langley (Lenore Kasdorf) was a villainess who appeared in the Murder, She Wrote episode “It’s A Dog’s Life”, in season 1.
Trish was the daughter of wealthy patriarch and Jessica’s friend, Denton Langley. Denton was a well known horse jockey and he invited his family and friends, including Jessica, to the horse riding gala in his large-acre home.
However, Denton’s lawyer, Marcus Boswell, and Trish were after Denton’s fortune. They conspired together to murder Denton. Marcus knew that Denton had left everything to his dog Teddy, but he told Trish that she stood to inherit a lot and convinced her into committing murder. In doing so, Trish drugged the horse that Denton will be riding. By the time Denton went to the gala with his horse, he would be knocked out of his ride by his own horse and killed to make it look like an accident. The plan eventually worked.
But when Trish realize that the dog was the sole heir, she became a liability for Marcus, so he decided to murder Trish. He knocked out Trish and placed her head between the gates and he ordered Denton’s dog to push the button in closing the gate to crush Trish’s throat, killing her.
