Thelma and Sophie are recurring antagonists in the 1984 adult Italian comic "Pig". They were created by artist Pier Carlo Macchi.

Issues 27 through 30[]

Each perverted and nymphomanic, the duo make their debut appearance peeping through a telescope into the apartment window of Allen Atkins - a scientist who prepared and drank a concoction that turned all of his body, minus his male member, invisible and incorporeal. They enjoy the show until they realize that heroine Evelyn is in there with him, using his lab equipment with the aim of reversing the experiment. They decide to intervene by showing up at the apartment and using cloroform to incapacitate Evelyn. After a little searching around the room, they find Allen's penis hiding behind a chair.

Thelma and Sophie introduce themselves as sex maniacs who collect pornographic objects, frequent brothels pretending to be whores, spy on couples having sex, and hire thugs to rape girls for their viewing enjoyment. They then use the male member to orally, vaginally and lastly anally rape the unconscious Evelyn before forcefully taking it back to their yacht.

While the two enjoy the penis themselves, hero Mark Raymond sneaks onto the boat in order to retrieve the kidnapped scientist. He waits until they are asleep, knocks them both out and ties them up. However, once Sophie wakes up, she uses a fallen knife from their dinner table to free herself and her friend. Thelma attempts to shoot Mark with a handgun, but because he is transformed into his titular pig form, the bullets bounce right off. Thinking fast, Sophie threatens to cut through Allen's penis with a pair of scissors, leaving Mark with no choice but to surrender.

The protagonist is tied down with steel cable while Thelma and Sophie take Allen to a nearby village named Haddingtown. There, he is ordered to break into every single home and rape the sleeping women inside, with the threat that they will murder Mark via suffocation if he refuses to comply. The threat works, until the hero realizes that the cables are tied to a wooden shaft, allowing him to break free. Mark manages to find Atkins, though only after he violated a dozen victims, and the villainous duo escape to plot more atrocities.

Issues 36 through 41[]

Thelma and Sophie make their return once again peeping through their telescope, only this time it is the transformed Mark that they see. Noticing that he is sick in bed, the two plot to discreetly give him arsenic in order to kill him. They ambush Doctor Atkins, who has since reversed the effects of the the concoction he'd drank and returned to normal, at his vehicle. While Sophie rapes him at gunpoint, Thelma switches out the medicine meant for Mark. When they get outside of the car for full on intercourse, however, the two women become surrounded by a group of thugs and wind up getting raped themselves. Their plan is further impeded by the fact that Mark's invulnerable skin leaves him unable to be injected with the poison.

Determined not to leave the amazing pig-man be, Thelma and Sophie trail him as he is forced to leave Allen's apartment unchanged. Mark decides to hide himself in a wax museum filled with lifelike mannequins. There, the villainous duo stumple upon an evil director who murders innocent people by dipping them into wax in order to create statues to sell to a billionaire. Feeling a kinship to his sadistic perversity, Thelma and Sophie ask to join in his atrocities, but he prefers to instead make them victim, along with a third woman named Nora.

Mark stumbles on to the scene in the nick of time and is able to incapacitate the evil director. When he moves to rescue the blindfoled Nora from being lowered into the vat of wax, however, he is stopped by Thelma and Sophie. The two remind him that if he unties the girl and she removes her blindfold, she will see him in his pig form and therefore, learn his secret. Swearing that this experience has made them change their wicked ways, they offer to rescue the girl in his stead while he goes and hides. The gullible Mark believes their words and starts to exit the building but soon discovers that he is unable to do so without being seen by the cleaning staff. When he returns to the vat room, he finds the evil women raping Nora and attempting to lower her into the wax. When the hero calls them on it, they move to push him into the vat, but in the endeavor, manage to fall in themselves, where they are finally killed.
