The trio of unnamed women are the primary antagonists of "Hex and the City", the second story contained within the 2009 comic book "Tales from the Crypt #11".
The trio are employed, though boastfully admit they do not "work" at a business run by a man named Howlsworth. Or at least they did prior to the story, as one of them mentions that they murdered him (the method is not specified) so that his "pushover" son would then take over, allowing them to goof off to their hearts' desires. The bad news, the women find, is that Howlsworth's unnamed son in fact has a very strong work ethic. The good news, however, is that he's also attracted to Wiccan women, which gives the three an idea.
Disguising themselves as witches, the lazy murderesses tell him that they know of a ritual that will allow their new boss to "become a real man", like his father was. Under intense pressure to become a success, the son agrees to participate, leading the trio to believe they now have him wrapped around their fingers. However, after ritual concludes Howlsworth's son actually does transform into a beast known as the "Horned God". He punishes the three in ways related to the desires he'd overheard them speaking of prior. For the first, he violently dances with her until her entire body becomes twisted and mangled. For the second, he overwhelms her by setting aflame all of her nerve endings at once. For the final, he sucks her into a cold void of infinite blackness that is "as black her own black heart".
The story ends with the three murderesses left mentally traumatized and homeless, while three new women walk past in order to take their positions at Howlsworth's business.
