Tessie, Dance Hall Girl (Chris Miller) is a minor antagonist in the 1956 western "Gunslinger". Tessie is one of three dancers, but is the only one credited in the film.

Rose Hood becomes the temporary marshal of Oracle, Texas after her husband is murdered. That same night, she asks madam Erica Page (Allison Hayes) to close her saloon at 3 AM in accordance to the towns curfew laws. Erica insists that her saloon is open for business 24 hours. As a result, the two women fight, and Erica submits to close for the night.

Erica is involved in a crooked scheme where she is buying up local property, because she has a tip the railroad is going to make Oracle a depot stop. The cowardly Mayor warns her that the railroad may not come to Oracle, but Erica already had that base covered, as after she makes payment on the land, she has her moronic henchman, Jake Hayes, murder the seller, take back the money, return it to her so she can buy some more land.

Erica is a businesswoman who believes in a fast return on investment. But, in order to get away cleanly, if the railroad does not come through, she sends her bartender Jake out-of-state to Tombstone to hire a gunslinger to come kill Rose. He brings back a hired gun named Cane Miro (John Ireland) who falls in love with his intended target.

Rose in the meantime continues to enforce the curfew law, which means that Erica can no longer afford to pay her dance hall girls. As she is paying the dancers, she mentions that if something happened to Rose, there wouldn't be a need to fire them. With the message sent, she pays them a bonus.

The three dancers led by Tessie, ambush Rose in the countryside while she is on horseback. They manhandle her to a nearby tree and attempt to put a noose around her neck and hang her. However, Cane comes to her defense. Rose tells them that they have three hours to get out of state, and if she ever sees them in town again, she would shoot them. The three girls immediately get on their horses and leave. This is the last we see of the lovely ladies.
