Tessa Blanchard is a professional wrestler competing as a villainess for Impact Wrestling.
Tessa's wrestling career began in 2014 with the Queens of Combat promotion. She later debuted at Shine Wrestling as a villainess when she joined Valkyrie, the promotion's main heel faction at that time, and feuded with women such as Leva Bates and Rachael Ellering. Tessa joined Shine's big sister promotion, SHIMMER, and formed a villainous alliance with Vanessa Kraven en route to capturing the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship.
Tessa made her Impact Wrestling debut on commentary at the Redemption PPV on April 22, 2018, establishing her heel persona by putting herself over and bashing the rest of the Knockouts, while stating that she should be handed a Knockouts Championship opportunity solely because of her famous last name. On May 3, Tessa made her first appearance on the Impact program and interrupted Kiera Hogan's interview by bashing her, only for Kiera respond by telling Tessa to watch her rematch against Taya Valkyrie. Later on, the evil Tessa appeared during the match and attacked Kiera in and out of the ring, leading to a grudge match two weeks later, which Tessa won.
After her victory, Tessa attacked Kiera, prompting Madison Rayne to leave her commentary position and confront the villainess in the ring. The confrontation led to a match at Under Pressure on May 31, which Tessa lost. A week later, Tessa was approached by Kiera, who reminded her of her loss to Madison, leading to Tessa assaulting Kiera backstage. On June 14, Tessa defeated Kiera in a No Disqualification match, but weeks later, Tessa would be defeated by Madison once again in singles action.
