Susan Montgomery (Michaela McManus) is a hidden villainess from "Turbulence," episode 5.03 of CSI: NY (airdate October 8, 2008). She is a flight attendant working on a flight that had Mac Taylor as one of the passengers.
However, Susan was also the lover/accomplice of Anton Greenway, a convicted drug smuggler who escaped custody. Susan agreed to help him escape, and while working at Atlantic Vista Airways, she converted $250,000 of US money that Anton had stolen into Canadian money. Anton killed Air Marshal Roger Stockwell before heading onto another airline and flight along with Susan.
Susan became upset over Anton not only killing Stockwell, but changing the plans entirely, which included hijacking the plane and running away to Canada instead of DC. She voiced her anger at Anton while the pair made love in the plane's bathroom. Anton pointed a gun at Susan and attempted to force her to help him hijack the plane and cross the border, only for Susan to remove her winged lapel pin and jam it into Anton's neck, killing him. Despite the murder saving her own life as well as the lives of the passengers, however, Susan fully turned heel by not only covering up the crime, but pursuing Anton's stolen money. As part of her deception, the evil Susan claimed to Mac that Anton was one of possibly multiple hijackers on the plane.
The pin prongs on Anton's jaw matched the murder weapon, and Mac seeing a photo of Susan without her pin revealed her as the killer. Mac and Don Flack went to another airline after learning that Susan was escaping to Paris, and it was there that Susan was found and her pin was uncovered by Flack. In the final scenes, Susan stuck to her claim that she saved a flight from multiple hijackers, only for Mac to uncover Susan's lie and reveal her history with Anton. The devious villainess confessed everything, stating that she loved Anton and was angry at him for killing Stockwell and changing the plans, only for Mac to state that she had the choice to report what happened or go for the cash, adding that she chose incorrectly by doing the latter. Susan was arrested (off-screen) for her various crimes.
