The Stepmother (Carola Braunbock) is the main antagonist of the 1973 Czech film Three Wishes for Cinderella. An elderly Czech rich woman, she makes Cinderella work as a maid for her. After Prince Charming sends invitations to all the women of Czechia, the stepmother forces the king to invite her and her daughter Dora, but leave Cinderella behind. After Cinderella appears at the ball, they are so jealous that they rob Cinderella of her clothes to trick the prince. After taking the slipper, they end up in a pond and seemingly get away with their torture scot-free.
