Sparky is a secondary villainess in the 1997 action thriller Lethal Tender. She is played by the Canadian actress, Karyn (Karen) Dwyer.
Sparky is the only female member of a criminal gang that plans to poison a city's water supplies. They take over a filtration plant and hold the employees and a group of visitors as hostages, executing some of them in the process. Sparky is initially hesitant when it comes to harming the hostages, but in the course of the film she becomes more violent and ruthless. In one scene, she screams from pleasure as she turkey-shoots a group of policemen who entered the plant to free the hostages but get caught in a trap.
She is eventually sent by her boss to pursue and execute Chase (the hero played by Jeff Fahey). As she is about to do so, she gets caught up in an intense catfight with Melissa (the heroine played by Carrie-Anne Moss). To her surprise, the red-haired villainess gets a bit of a thrashing and pulls a knife from her boot. Sparky is about to kill Melissa when Chase picks up the villainess' gun and shoots her in the back. Sparky releases a high-pitched scream and falls down on her belly, dying instantly. Hero and heroine leave her body behind as they try to make their way out of the plant.
