Solina (Jennifer Esposito) is Dracula's first bride and the secondary antagonist of the 2000 film Dracula 2000.
Solina was the former secretary to Matthew Van Helsing (Christopher Plummer), the descendant of the 19th century Dutch doctor Abraham Van Helsing. Van Helsing owned an antique shop in London. One night while Van Helsing was upstairs, Solina allowed a group of thieves led by her boyfriend Marcus (Omar Epps) into the shop. The thieves infiltrated the shops underground high-security vault and found a sealed silver coffin protected by a deadly defense system. Solina and Marcus decided that the coffin's contents must be valuable, so they escaped with it and fled to New Orleans.
Aboard the plane, one of the thieves managed to open the coffin, revealing the dormant body of Dracula (Gerard Butler). Dracula awakened and attacked and turned the thieves, seducing and turning Solina into a vampire as well , causing the plane to crash in the Louisiana swamps. Dracula survived the crash and travelled to New Orleans.
Solina later came back to life at the hospital morgue, and attacked and killed an attendant there.
She was later seen as a group of three brides which included Valerie Sharpe (Jeri Ryan) and Lucy Westerman (Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick). Valerie was a former news reporter, and Lucy was a former college student and roommate of Mary Heller-Van Helsing (Justine Waddell). Together the three of the birdes corner Van Helsing (Christopher Plummer) and kill him.
Solina is killed along with the other brides by Mary and Simon.
