Sofia (also known as Sofia of Girona) is a hidden villainess from Criminal Case: Save the World, the 3rd season of the crime solving game Criminal Case. Sofia appeared in as a suspect in case #2, "Off with Their Heads", before being revealed as a villainess in case #6, "The Impossible Dream" (release date September 24, 2015).
Sofia was the princess of Girona, Spain, and she was approached by the player and Jack Archer during "The Impossible Dream" as a suspect in the murder of author Jacqueline Proust, as the author had put an unflattering photo of Sofia on the cover of her latest romance novel. Sofia expressed outrage at Jacqueline for using her photo without her permission, but showed sympathy for her when she learned that she was roasted to death inside an iron bull, proclaiming that she wouldn't wish such a death on her worst enemy.
But later on, it was uncovered that Sofia was a member of the Promethian Cult, a group that was plotting to bomb several European monuments in an effort to scare citizens into voting in favor of European unification. When confronted by the evidence pointing to her allegiance, Sofia unabashedly admitted to her involvement with the Promethians, proclaiming that their methods more effective than traditional politics and boasting that Jacqueline got what she deserved for infiltrating the cult for the purpose of destroying it. Sofia was placed under arrest for her involvement with the Promethian Cult, though it was later proven that she had no hand in Jacqueline's murder. Later on, Sofia begrudgingly agreed to help stop the referendum on European unification as an effort to stop the Promethians from going through with their destructive attacks.
