Simone (Monique Ganderton) is a henchwoman and assassin in the 2017 film SWAT: Under Siege. She works for the evil operative known as Lars, helping him in his mission to track down their former associate, Scorpion, who has an important microchip that they want.

It is implied that Simone and Lars have worked together for a long time, completing black ops missions that include assassinating targets and even destabilizing entire nations.

In SWAT: Under Siege[]

Receiving The Mission[]

Simone and Lars are traveling aboard a private jet as Lars pontificates about the history of racism in the United States. Glued to her phone, Simone eventually looks up long enough to sarcastically wonder what his point is. Lars slyly replies that he "though they were chatting" when they receive a phone call from their mysterious benefactor.

Their contact reveals that their target, Scorpion, has been apprehended by a SWAT team and supplies their location. Lars makes a deal with the benefactor and declares to Simone that Scorpion will not escape his clutches this time, to which she replies with a knowing smile.

In The Command Center[]

Simone and Lars arrive at the apartment of their contact, Nicholas, who immediately becomes smitten with Simone upon seeing her for the first time. He reveals that he has the SWAT team under surveillance and Lars's forces of black ops soldiers move in to capture Scorpion.

As the supervisor of Lars's soldiers, Simone commands the men as they make their initial raid on the SWAT base. She makes several remarks about their enemy's resilience, though she clearly savors the thought of killing them. When the SWAT team makes a call for backup, Simone intercepts their message and impersonates the dispatcher, falsely claiming that backup is on its way.

Eventually, the SWAT base falls and Lars makes contact with the team inside, demanding that they hand Scorpion over to him. Though the team initially refuses to comply, Simone accesses files containing each soldier's personal information, threatening the lives of their families if they do not meet their demands. Fed up with the hassle, Scorpion volunteers himself in exchange for innocent lives, momentarily appeasing Simone and Lars, who make their way to the SWAT base to complete the transaction themselves.

Attacking The SWAT Base[]

From a car safely removed from the danger of the oncoming battle, Simone commands the secondary assault on the SWAT base, where it is revealed that the team intended to lure their forces into a trap. Simone attempts to pull her men out of harm's way, but some are killed by the SWAT team. During the assault, Lars receives word that Scorpion is no longer necessary to unlocking the microchip and that he is therefore no longer needed alive. Driven by their desire to see Scorpion dead, Simone and Lars head into the base themselves to finish the job.

As the fighting continues, Simone comes across SWAT team leader Ellen Dwyer, leading to a hand-to-hand fight between the two women. They come to a standstill, wherein Ellen is pistol whipped from behind by Lars. Upset by his intrusion, Simone shoots him a look, but he merely tells her to "get over" herself and the two continue onward.

Final Fight And Death[]

Lars eventually takes on Scorpion himself, leaving Simone to take on Agent Travis Hall. She surprise attacks him, disposing of his weapon within moments of their confrontation. The two engage in brutal fisticuffs, eventually ending up on the roof of the building. Simone quickly gains the upper hand, knocking Travis to the ground and using a combat baton to beat him while he's down.

Travis manages to knock Simone off of him and to the ground, angering her. They fight for a few moments more and Simone is again knocked to the ground, visibly causing her frustration to rise. The henchwoman picks herself back up and locks eyes with her opponent, seething under the rage of being knocked over. She lets out a vicious growl and charges head-on at Travis, who easily sidesteps her assault and gives her an extra push.

The added momentum from Travis's push proves too great for Simone to stop her charge, leading her to soar over the edge of the roof. Suspended in the air for but a moment, Simone looks down at the ground far below and lets out a helpless cry as she falls to the ground. With his opponent out of view, Travis hears the sound of Simone's body hitting the ground and, peaking over the side of the building, spots her dead body sprawled out on the grass below.

Appearance[]

Simone is a tall, slender woman with thick, black hair, which she lets hang loose over her shoulders. In the film, she wears a black leather outfit with an unbuttoned jacket, which she removes for certain scenes. She looks to be in her early-to-mid 30s and is quite physically imposing when compared to both her allies and opponents in the film.

Personality[]

Simone is shown to be quick sarcastic, sometimes calling Lars out for his trivial musings. She also seems to have little patience for those around her, rolling her eyes and making smart remarks that poke at their intellectual inferiority.

She also appears to be quite sadistic, enjoying inflicting pain on her enemies. She takes great pride in her skill, appearing upset when Lars steps in during her fight with Ellen Dwyer. This pride greatly contributed to her downfall, leading her to blindly charge at Travis during their fight and therefore be thrown off the roof.

Trivia[]

Monique Ganderton also played the evil torturer Monique in The Package and the deadly assassin Crane in American Ultra.
