The Female Villains Wiki

Silvana (Rosalba Neri) was a secondary antagonist in the 1967 eurospy film “Electra One”. The film’s original title was “Con La Muerte A La Espalda”.

A criminal organization led by a man named Electra 1 (Daniele Vargas) has discovered a serum capable of unleashing huge damage and total destruction. The formula causes hypnotic effects of mind controlling. The Soviet KGB and American CIA decide to join forces along with the Chinese try to stop the dangerous threat.

Silvana first appears in the film when she accompanies Electra as his personal assistant in a meeting with the Chinese leader Ivan (Ignazio Leone). They show a film of an officer go mad on an army base and almost launch its nuclear missiles. They plan to use it to hold the world hostage.

An antidote has been created to impede the malicious effects of the dangerous drug. However, the Professor Rowland (Georges Chamarat) who created it was killed at a jewelry showing. Gary (George Martin), a roguish jewel thief who serves as the hero, helps Professor Rowlands beautiful lab assistant, Monica (Vivi Bach) escape being killed herself. They flee into the rural area of Hamburg, Germany.

Gary double crossed her and stole the briefcase, replacing it with a copy. He was soon captured by Silvana and her men. Silvana seduces him then knocks him out with a drug and places him in a cell. Gary makes a deal to hand over the briefcase with the serum in exchange for $500,000 from a predetermined spot. Silvana meets him at a bridge to make the exchange. Gary tells her to follow him in their own car where he has the briefcase. While making the exchange, Silvana has a sniper ready to take him out, but the plan is foiled when a police siren prevents the hit from taking place. Silvana flees while Gary is arrested. However, Gary had arranged for some of his own associates to take the role as police, and after taking off he gave them a portion of his cut.

Monica showed up in his boat cabin demanding he give her back the briefcase he stole from her. Gary quickly tied her up and left her attached to a pole while getting away via scuba gear.

Silvana next appears at a horse race where Ivan orders her to get Monica. Silvana pleads to eliminate her, but Ivan prefers to have her delivered alive.

The Russians kidnap Monica and they also capture Gary. However, Gary is able to trick the man who is ordered to shoot him and escape. Monica is taken to Electra’s compound at the top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps. Gary takes a helicopter after learning the location and all the parties arrive in one place including Ivan and Electra’s assistant Silvana.

Gary is able to steal the antidote from the safe, but then he hears negotiations between Ivan and Electra to exchange the item for 2 million dollars. Upon hearing this, Gary decides he really has a bargaining chip and plans to use it to exchange for the release of Monica.

An exchange point is agreed upon in a high meadow and the parties arrive in cars. As Silvana inspects the cash Gary shoots from a distant rock. All of the parties scatter and gunfire rings out everywhere. Silvana is shot with a machine gunfire in the belly by Ivan’s Chinese men.

All of the men are eliminated except for Electra and Gary made off with the briefcase full of money. Electra stops the gondola being ridden by Gary and Monica and makes his way to a plane to get away. He then attempts to shoot them down with a machine gun from his plane. They are able to slide down a rope from the gondola and speed down the mountain road in a car, all the while as Electra is attempting to kill them with his machine gun. However, Gary is able to use his own machine gun to explode the plane. Gary and Monica head off with the case of money as the credits rise.
