Shimura (Ghost Spider, The Bride) was an evil arachne ghost who ruled over conquered territory as queen. One-off villain appeared in Chinese manhua Devilish Girlfriend (开局吻上裂口女) issues 119-120.
Story[]
In a world beset by evil human-beast hybrid ghosts, the arachne Shimura ruled the Shinbari district as their queen. She devoured the men to increase her cultivation or made them spider-hybrid zombie slaves. She has begun to attack other districts to increase her territory.
Lin Que was a lowly student in college when he died and was reborn to with access to S class cultivation powers. He joins a resistance division that reclaims lost human territory by dispatching the evil ghosts. Lin Qui and his new wife Hongye, along with two powerful young comrades, travel to Shinbari to liberate it from Shimura.
After dispatching a subordinate, Lin Que and crew encounter Shimura in her bestial arachne form. She immediately attacks with her zombie horde and overpowers them. Transforming into her even more powerful human form, Shimura starts to torture Hongye while a bound Lin Que watches. This sight causes Lin Que’s cultivation to level-up and break his binds. Shimura attempts to kill Lin Que, but he now is more powerful than her. He easily smashes the enraged Shimura through the air several times before she finally admits defeat. She begs for life, giving up information about the mysterious ‘ghost queen’. She threatened his wife and insulted his home region, so Lin Que kills Shimura anyway.
