Shanda (Haviland Morris) is the titular villainess from "Shanda's Song," episode 1.08 of Diagnosis Murder (airdate January 7, 1994). She is a famous pop diva who has been on the receiving end of threats from a stalker named Patrick.

Shanda was under the protection of Dr. Mark Sloan, who originally suspected Shanda's back-up singer, Claire, as well as her bandmate, Cinnamon, for attempting to harm her. Things turned deadly as Patrick shot and killed Claire (thinking she was Shanda) at Shanda's home later in the episode; however, Patrick was found dead with a single gunshot wound.

It was revealed that Shanda was the true evil mastermind, as she and Patrick worked together to kill Claire. Shanda's motive: Claire (as she stated to Mark) planned to go solo, but Shanda wouldn't allow it. Shanda stated that Claire would be nothing without her, but as Mark revealed, Claire sung Shanda's songs, as Shanda's vocal cords were damaged and doctors informed her that she could never sing again. After killing Claire, the evil Shanda killed Patrick (who loved Shanda) to keep him quiet. Shanda was arrested for the murders of Claire and Patrick.
