Semmerling (セマーリン) (VA: Mami Koyama) is the main villainess of the 1989 original video animation "Riding Bean" (ライディング・ビーン).
A criminal master of disguise, Semmerling kidnaps a girl named Chelsea Grimwood, as well as the girl's father, George Grimwood, and ultimately tries to pin the entire crime on protagonists, Bean Bandit and Rally Vincent, while making off with a 2 million dollar ransom. Her weapon of choice is the "Semmerling .45"; a reaffirmation of creator Kenichi Sonoda's love for firearms.
Semmerling's accomplice is a young girl named Carrie, who she is quite abusive to, both physically and (implied) sexually. Semmerling is killed when she fires her gun at Carrie, who pleadingly reveals to Bean where they've hid the ransom money in hopes of stopping the violence between him and her lover, which ignites the gasoline leaking from a wrecked car behind her.

- Semmerling also voiced vengeful villainess Akiko Hanai from Case Closed, and is best known for voicing recurring villainess Vermouth from the same series.
