Sandra is a major antagonist in the 2005 rail shooter arcade game Cobra the Arcade developed by Namco. She is based upon the character of the same name in the Buichi Terasawa manga Cobra. She appears in stories 3 & 4. She is voiced by Reiko Taijima in the Japanese version and Lenne Hardt in the English dub version.
Story[]
Sandra is the leader of the Snow Gorillas, an all-female gang on the planet Reuluge. She holds Dominique Royal hostage in the Snow Gorilla base as she and her sisters have maps tattooed on their backs to Captain Nelson's treasure, the father of the Royal sisters. In reality the treasure is in fact an ultimate weapon, able to copy any weapon it sees. The two protagonists, Cobra and Lady, try to save the Royal sisters and stop Sandra and other antagonists from acquiring the ultimate weapon.
Story 3: Battle in the Snowy Land[]
Sandra is first introduced in story 3 after Coba and Lady defeat Ironhead and a Snow Gorilla space carrier. She has her Snow Gorilla minions hold Dominique Royal as a prisoner and Sandra prepares to execute her. She laughs maliciously as she boasts that "The fool who came to rescue you should be dead by now. Now its your time to die!" Just as her minions are about to execute Dominique, Cobra kills the Snow Gorilla soldiers holding her. He and Lady then crash into the base from above, much to Sandra's surprise. Frustrated, Sandra orders her minions to kill Dominique, Cobra, and Lady as they make their escape from the base. Despite facing numerous Snow Gorilla soldiers and spaceships, Cobra and Lady escape with Dominique and now have the location to the ultimate weapon.
Story 4: The Treasure's Secret[]
Cobra, Lady, and Dominique, then travel to the planet Zados to acquire the ultimate weapon. They travel inside a pyramid and fight numerous enemies before reaching the throne room where Cobra and Lady fight King Babel. After Babel is defeated, Cobra and Lady continue heading forward when a shot is fired at Cobra which barely misses him. When Cobra and Lady turned around, they find Sandra holding Dominique at gunpoint. Surprised to see Sandra, Cobra asks whether she suffered traveling all the way from Reuluge just to chase him. She replies that he bought into her plans before entering the secret chamber containing the ultimate weapon, causing a wall to block the secret chamber. Cobra then exclaims that Sandra "will get a spanking" when he gets a hold of her. The throne room then starts to collapse.
While escaping the collapsing pyramid, Cobra and Lady encounter numerous Snow Gorilla soldiers and Sandra who is now in possession of the ultimate weapon. Throughout the level, Sandra uses the ultimate weapon to copy a handgun, machine gun, and even Cobra's Psycho-Gun. Despite the odds, Cobra and Lady make it out of the pyramid.
Outside the pyramid, Cobra and Lady see Sandra transforming the ultimate weapon into its final form which is a tank which Sandra commands inside. This makes it clear to Cobra that the ultimate weapon copies the weapon performance the ultimate weapon itself sees with its own eyes. The ultimate weapon then engages Cobra and Lady in battle. Despite the firepower and capabilities of the ultimate weapon, Cobra and Lady are able to defeat it with Cobra firing the Psycho-Gun hitting its eye. Sandra is killed by the Psycho-shot which causes the ultimate weapon to revert to its original form, an egg with an eye. We see Sandra's deceased body as Cobra walks to collect the weapon, he observes that if you pick the ultimate weapon up without any evil intent, its no more than a harmless egg.
