Samantha "Sam" Berry (Amy Arburn) was a hidden villainess from the 2017 Lifetime film, Fatherly Obsession (alternately titled, The Landlord; airdate December 26, 2017). She was a bartender at a club where main protagonist Alyssa Haroldson performs her stand-up comedy.
Sam was shown scowling over seeing Alyssa with fellow bartender Oliver Hall, giving the impression that she was with Oliver. In actuality, Sam was actually a stalker who was obsessively in love with Alyssa, and she had been harassing her back when she was in Wyoming. The twisted villainess sent emails to Alyssa under the name, "ILY," and left Wyoming to follow Alyssa and continue her obsession. Sam later appeared in Alyssa and Oliver's apartment building, and engaged in a sexual encounter with Oliver after seeing Alyssa leave his place. She gave a devious smirk at Alyssa after she witnessed Oliver with her, feeling satisfied over her actions.
Alyssa was also being targeted by the building's landlord (and the film's main antagonist), Robert Fallsworth, who posed as Alyssa and sent Sam an email asking her to meet Alyssa. Sam responded to the email and revealed her villainous nature to Alyssa, stating that she was "ILY" and she had been her "admirer." She also stated that she slept with Oliver to show Alyssa that he was no good for her, and that he wouldn't love Alyssa like she could. Sam claimed to Alyssa that they were meant to be together, and she had a knife in her possession as she moved closer to the object of her obsession. But before Sam could harm Alyssa, Robert appeared and struck Sam in the head with a flower vase, killing the psychotic villainess.
