Samantha (Fear Itself)

Samantha (Maggie Lawson) is the hidden main villainess from the 4th episode of Fear Itseif, "In Sickness and In Health" (airdate June 26, 2008). She was set to marry her fiancee, Carlos (Lawson's Psych co-star James Roday), but before the nuptials, she received a letter that stated: "The person you are marrying is a serial killer." Since receiving the letter from Father Chris, who got it from a mysterious woman, Samantha spent the entire evening in a worried state.

Figuring that he was the cause of Samantha's worries, Carlos confessed to Samantha at the end of the episode that he had an indiscretion with another woman. Following the admission, Samantha made a shocking reveal: Father Chris gave the letter to the wrong person; it was supposed to be given to Carlos. It was also revealed that the "woman" who gave Father Chris the letter was Samantha's brother, Steven, as he removed his wig as he entered their home--which was riddied with decaying bodies covered in plastic. Samantha stated earlier in the episode that she had past boyfriends but they never worked out; suggesting that she murdered them.

Regarding the letter, Carlos stated that he didn't care about it and that Samantha would tell him about it when she was ready. In the final scene, Samantha assured Carlos' statement that she would reveal the letters contents in due time, doing so with an evil and creepy expression on her face that implied she planned to continue her murderous legacy.
