Ryoko Morozumi (née Gondo, Keiko Han) was a villainess from "The Red Horse Within the Flames", episodes 12.10, 12.11, and 12.12 of Case Closed (airdates June 23, June 30, and July 7, 2003, manga volume 39: Files 1-5). She was the wife of psychiatrist Akira Morozumi and the younger sister of fortune teller Keiko Gondo.

The episode had Ryoko calling private detective Kogoro Mouri to investigate a strange man she was lurking around her house, only to dismiss them when they arrived, claiming it had just been her imagination. While at the house, Kogoro (along with Heiji Hattori and Conan Edogawa, who he'd brought with him) witnessed Ryoko callously dismiss antique store manager/salesman Takanori Genda when he tried to offer her a pamphlet and gift from his store, as well as Keiko when she came to ask Ryoko for money.

Ryoko was also revealed as an adulteress, as she was having an affair with her Fengei Shui instructor Misao Soga and was blackmailing him with a videotape of them together, wanting to force Misao to leave his wife for her. Kogoro and company witnessed Misao in the house searching for the tape, with Ryoko callously taunting him that she'd hidden the tape well and that it was "insurance" that he would divorce his wife before reminding Misao that Akira would be coming home soon so that the two of them could go out drinking. It was after Ryoko was left alone at her house that she was killed when her house was set ablaze, with the culprit being a serial arsonist who had been terrorizing the city.

Over the course of the investigation, it was revealed that Akira was the one who set his house on fire and killed Ryoko, and had been manipulating Genda (a patient of his) into believing he had a split personality that was the arsonist. During his confession, Akira revealed that Ryoko had learned prior to the episode's events that he was the arsonist, having found a box containing the red horse figurines he was placing at the scene of each crime. Rather than report her husband to the police, however, the evil Ryoko attempted to use her knowledge of her husband's crimes to force him to give her a divorce. Akira also revealed that Ryoko refused to sell their house to make room for a clinic Akira wanted to build, further motivating his plot to kill his wife.
