Riley Hicks (Gina Carano) is a former agent of Diplomatic Security Service and the girlfriend of Owen Shaw.
History[]
Riley was a member of Agent Luke Hobbs' team from Diplomatic Security Service, presumably helping him and Dominic Toretto's team try to take down former Special Air Service Major Owen G. Shaw and his team of highly skilled mercenaries.
However, unbeknownst to all of the protagonists, Riley is actually a double agent that secretly helps Shaw and the others escape custody until her true nature of being aligned with Shaw was discovered later on. Riley later engages in a second hand-to-hand combat with Leticia "Letty" Ortiz aboard the military cargo plane and she is eventually killed after Letty shoots her out of the plane using a harpoon gun given by Hobbs himself.

- Gina Carano later appeared as the villainous Angel Dust in Deadpool.
- Riley's revealed alliance with Owen Shaw was part of a face-heel double turn between her and Letty Ortiz in the film. The twist ending of Fast Five saw Letty revealed as a villainess with Shaw, and despite her amnesia leading to the alliance, she continued the role and served as a heel in her first fight with a face Riley. The double turn occurred in the same scene, when Letty went back with Dom after Riley's villainous reveal, leading to a second fight with Riley as a heel and ending up killed by the heroic Letty.
