Riju (Maya Martillini) is the tertiary villainess of The Chosen, a short horror film released by Crypt TV (release date August 10, 2017). She was a demon queen and the center of a six-person cult, which included the film's main villainess, Velma.
The cult's fixation on Riju led them all to commit murder for the purpose of bringing her to reality, killing people to use their body parts in a ritual. After gathering together and using their collected body parts to form a body, the six-person cult chanted Riju's name until they were transported to a vast area of white nothingness.
As the six stood in the area, a red puddle formed and a creature began to emerge from it. The creature then flashed its' eyes at the gang, killing the cult sans Velma, who had used part of her skirt to blindfold herself. After that, Riju was brought into reality in corporeal form and approached Velma, removing her blindfold and telling her that "her queen" had risen and that it was time for them to "begin", ending the film with the suggestion that Riju had evil plans in mind for her and Velma.
