Rhoda Pratt (Tara Chocol) was the villainess from "Two Sisters," the second segment from episode 3.06 of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction (airdate June 30, 2000). She was the sister of Camille Pratt, though they were always at odds due to Rhoda's intense jealousy.
The segment began with Camille's wedding to Kevin, which saw Rhoda's jealousy displayed, as Rhoda was in love with Kevin. She was also bitter over Camille wearing a wedding gown that she loved, and while she was approached by Camille, Rhoda stated that Kevin should be marrying her and not her sister, and that she should be wearing the gown. Camille responded that Rhoda only wanted Kevin because he was with her, and that Kevin was never in love with Rhoda.
Three years later, Camille contracted a rare blood disease while vacationing at the Tropics, leaving her with little time left to live. While Kevin tended to his wife, the evil Rhoda used the opportunity to get closer to Kevin, doing so right in front of her dying sister. Camille stated to her callous sister that she was on to what she was doing, and she warned Rhoda to leave her family alone. Camille passed away following Rhoda's last visit, and per her request, she was to be buried in her wedding gown. At the funeral, however, Rhoda took the dress off her deceased sister's body and switched it with a different one, and in the months that passed following Camille's death, Rhoda decided to coerce Kevin into marrying her--claiming that his two children (which he had with Camille) need a full time mother.
At the end of the segment, Rhoda was set to marry Kevin on a hot August day--the hottest day of the year. She walked down the aisle wearing Camille's dress, and was sweating and turning red. Kevin noticed that the dress was similar to Camille's, but Rhoda managed to hide the fact that she took it off her deceased sister. Despite not feeling well, Rhoda turned down Kevin's request to stop the wedding, and just as she was about to say "I do," Rhoda collapsed and died. According to the coroner, the extreme heat combined with Rhoda's allergy to embalming fluid (which, of course, was all over the dress) killed her, though some guests at the wedding believe that Camille's spirit prevented the wedding.
