Reika Kitami (Eriko Kigawa in the game, Michiru Jousaki in the anime) is the main antagonist of the eroge title Bible Black and its animated adaptation. In the animated prequel, she was a good-natured transfer student until she was caught in Nami Kozono's ambitions, where she was kidnapped and gang-raped by her henchmen, and subsequently used in a sacrificial occult ritual led by Kozono.

The Survivor of the Massacre[]
Twelve years ago, Reika was an unfortunate victim kidnapped by the Academy's Witchcraft Club, the Rose Cross, to be used as the human sacrifice in order for the girls to summon the devil and gain unfathomable power. However, despite seemingly having sacrificed Reika through stabbing her with a large metal sword, the girls were unable to summon the devil, leading to the group's priestess Nami going mad and slaughtering everyone else in order to complete the ritual. Unknown to Nami, Reika was only mostly dead and was able to regain her strength.
Full of hatred toward the priestess, Reika stabbed Nami to death as the latter tried to appeal to the devil, before succumbing the the injury herself. Recognized by the devil as the sole survived, Reika was offered a contract with the devil to prolong her life, granting her unimaginable power, in exchange for him claiming her soul thirteen years later, which Reika accepted. Reika then proceeded to return back to her normal life as if nothing happened, and began to use her newfound power to gain wealth and glory, fulfilling her every desires. Reika also took the Bible Black spellbook in the Rose Cross's possession and used it to become a powerful witch in her own right, though she failed to notice a one particular spell due to a bloodstain that got on it.
Although Reika initially didn't give much thought about the contract's expiry date at first, she slowly began to fear her upcoming death and started to research for a way to avoid her end of bargain. Reika eventually discovered a secret spell once used by the Knight of Templar to escape the pact: the Soul Succession Ritual, which allows her to switch bodies with another person and letting the devil claiming their soul in place of hers, though the ritual has to be performed on the night of Walpurgis and requires a virgin body.
Knowing the requirements, Reika transferred back to the Academy where she was once a student and worked as the school's doctor as she began to prepare for the ritual and build up her army, using her seductive appearance and alluring personality to lure the students to her side. She also set her eyes on Kurumi Imari, an energetic girl whom she believed to be a perfect vessel, and decided to use the girl's childhood friend and classmate Taki Minase (the game's protagonist) to bring her to him.

Reika's backstory in the anime closely follows the manga, though is also expanded to flesh out her personalities further. In the anime, Reika is an attractive and kind-hearted soul who turned many students' heads, including the antagonistic Student Council President Nami Kozono, though Reika clearly dislikes Nami and tries to reject her advance. After the love spell on nami wears off she Tries to assault her again however she slaps her call her crazy where she was rejected again and decided to get back at her once she discovered the Bible black.
reika however search for the puppy that she befriended with where her goons trick her to help her find the puppy however she went to an unknown alley with them sadly she ultimately let her guard down she became angry at them and demand the puppy that they told her was injured nami arrived telling her that they wasn't lying and showed the puppies corpse where the dog was killed and sacrifice heartbroken over the dog that she took care of nami tell her that she needs her need her to sacrifice and proceeded to let her goons assault her but tell them only to have anal sex however her goons did not listen to her and proceeded to take her virginity results of ruined the ritual.
After they was done with her and put her to sleep nami completely stab her multiple times to open the gates of hell however since she was no longer a virgin due to being ganged rape nami lost her complete mind and slaughter all of Takashiro friends to open the gates reika managed to use a little bit of her strength and stab her results of getting back at her however she realized that she was going to die soon she signed a contract with the devil to save her life which ultimately corrupted her mind with evil.
Bible Black: La Noche de Walpurgis (anime)[]
For the next 12 years she enjoying her new powers and became grateful of it however as time passed she knew that her contract will expire that the devil will come for her results of sending her soul to hell she realized that she needs to work a plan to trick the devil when she discovered soul switch bodies with where she went to another school where her kind soul resurface and rekindles a relationship with Naoto Yamanishi before she leaves.
Back at her old academy she searched for multiple virgin females to switch bodies with as she became unsuccessful with them results of not being a virgin anymore however she successively spots imari as her new vessel she encounters with her nemesis Takashiro who she tortures and demanded answers she explains that she was in that circle decades ago but doesn't know who reika is Taki Minase who rebellion against her once he declare his love for imari she decided to spare him instead of killing him they managed to stop the ritual unfortunately she managed to place some little pieces part of her soul in imari body leaving her own body to die.
A couple of days ago she discovered that they placed the Bible black back in the basement where she catching Kaori Saeki trying to reclaim the Bible black she somehow takes control of imari body And revealed her futanari penis to the girl results of the ritual became success and proceeded to test the girl's body by assaulting her again.
Later on takashiro Discovers reika has successfully completed the ritual and her soul in imari body she managed to use a sealed spell to seal the wicked reika in imari body off screen.
New Testament[]
As years as past reika is still seal in imari body so she won't interfere imari gross up to become a police detective as she was involved of a bank robbery to investigate imari was assaulted by one of the bank robbers and begin to perform the chart ritual as imari hears the words and tries to block it out unfortunately her conscience wasn't strong enough results of kitami soul to resurface and took over her whole body and killed the bank robber after being sealed for so long she decided to test her body again by raping one of the last survivors bank tellers and stole the the Spear of Longinus from the bank vault.
Imari/Kitami then looks for the so called Scarlet Woman to gain the Devil's powers. She identifies Aki to be that woman and captures her for a ceremony, lodging the ancient Spear of Longinus artifact inside her body. She encounters with her old nemesis Takashiro who found out she was the one who sealed her away and hypocritical accuse her of stealing Minase away from her. The ghostly figure, now identified as Jody, tries to disrupt her ceremony, and makes a pact with Saeki's follower Yuki Toudou to be her eyes and ears.
All the while, young police investigator Naoto Yamanishi tries to investigate the mysterious events before he becomes a victim himself.
The final ceremony climaxes with both Imari/Kitami and Jody Crowley competing over Aki. Takashiro and Tokken chief Toru Yuge struggle to defeat both of them and end the dark ceremony. After saeki betrays her mistress due to the corruption jody place on her she took over her ritual and proceeded to have sex with imari/kitami who imari soul resurface due to anal sex as reika went back into her body and resurfaced later.
They immediately found the original Bible black however Takashiro immediately release the Bible back results of purple hands mentioning the people who was involved with him to do a contract with him and taking back the souls in return Jody of the other hand agrees with the contract as he signed his signature reika who didnt agree with the devil cry for naoto to save her as she did not want to die and be sent to hell he comes to her rescue and touch her hand where he accidentally bumped into jody lifeless body where she proceeded to possess her body instead unfortunately for jody she was tricked due to Takashiro placing a spell on her and tries to get the devil to release her it was too late as her soul is being dragged to hell.
After everything resumes back to normal imari no longer has the evil witch controlling her body went back to her normal habitat aki has pictures of kitami images flashes on her computer we're seeing that the witch is not gone forever.
Personality[]
befor turning evil As a student, Kitami was a sweet and shy girl, treating everyone and everything with kindness. She lovingly takes care of a puppy she finds near her school, feeding him regularly, and when Junko Mochida is ridiculed by her fellow students for making a public display she kindly helps her up and comforts her.
However, her kindhearted personality also means she is somewhat naive and even gullible. She is easily lured away by one of Kozono's immoral thugs when he claims the puppy she has been taking caring of is injured. Despite this, she does show a lot of resolve when Kozono tries to seduce her, denying her advances twice and even slapping her in the face.
unfortunately after her mind became corrupted and turn evil results of her trauma in the hands of the Rose cross witchcraft club who sacrifice her (which unfortunately fail due to her gang rape and signing a contract with the devil to save her life) drastically change her personality.She becomes wicked, devious, vengeful and manipulative, regarding other people as mere tools to get what she desires. She revels in harming her enemies and finds great pleasure in torturing and raping them. She justifies her wicked behavior with a somewhat morbid philosophy, claiming the whole world is corrupt and sinful but that most people will not admit to it (which she was right on one thing).
She becomes very vengeful and grudges directly towards the art teacher Kitami has a particular disdain for Hiroko Takashiro when she discovers her history with the Rose Cross coven but also left and quit after she was rape by the demon who they summon after killing the puppy that she cared for and her friends being slaughtered after she found their remains She decided to keep the teacher alive, however, indicating Kitami enjoys showing off her powers and strength.
Despite being utterly ruthless to her enemies, she seems to have retained some aspects of her kind personality. She develops a close and loving bond with one of her students, Naoto Yamanishi, and appears to care for him deeply. She also had a similar love for Taki Minase, as years later when she possessed Imari she blamed Takashiro for stealing him. She also seems to be somewhat merciful, allowing Minase to live when he betrays her, again preferring to demonstrate her powers to others instead of eliminating them.
Kitami's evil personality persists when she revives in Kurumi Imari's body and arguably grows even darker when she has to compete with Jody Crowley, another powerful magic user. However, her demeanor is a lot more serious than before. She allows her followers to brutally torture and assault her enemies, but does not seem to take as much pleasure from it as during her time as a nurse. She instead acts cold and reserved, and appears to be genuinely concerned about Crowley's intentions and the power she possesses.
