Ramona Snarfle is the (secretly) villainous protagonist of "Flob Was a Slob", the second story of the 1953 comic book "Mad #4".

Ramona is torn between two men. On the one hand, there is the sweet yet dimwitted Sheldon Flob who was her childhood sweetheart. On the other, there is Rackstraw Him, the handsome yet crooked stranger who walks into her life as an adult. While Sheldon shows Ramona nothing but care and love, Rackstraw treats her roughly, cheats on her with other women, robs banks and even pushes reefer cigarettes onto young school children.

On the comic's final page, the story begins to lean towards the traditional, predictable conclusion of Ramona realizing that while he may not look like much, Sheldon truly shares the values that are the most important life. However, in the final few panels, she reveals that it's actually Rackstraw's life that she finds more exciting, and the story ends with her aggressively pushing reefer cigarettes onto the children that surrounded her at the beginning of the tale.
