Sharmell is a former professional wrestling valet best known for her time in WWE and TNA, portraying a villainess in both promotions.

Sharmell made her WWE debut in April 2005 as the babyface valet for her husband, Booker T, but within months, Sharmell turned heel and started interfering in Booker's matches, presumably without Booker's knowledge. Sharmell's villainous handiwork led to Booker becoming the #1 Contender for the United States Championship, which was held by Chris Benoit. During the match, Sharmell behaved herself for the most part, but when Booker was in trouble, Sharmell reverted to her heel persona and attempted to insert a steel chair into the equation, but was caught by Benoit. Sharmell gave a sinister snarl after being caught with the chair, but despite this, the evil Sharmell delivered a low blow to Benoit, which allowed Booker to win the US Title. A week later, Booker revealed that he knew about Sharmell's involvement all along, and Sharmell laughed evilly as she watched her husband attack Benoit.

Sharmell continued her role as the villainous valet to Booker during his road to becoming King of the Ring and later World Heavyweight Champion, with Sharmell referred to as Queen Sharmell. By 2007, Sharmell began to turn against her husband; accusing him of not caring about her, but the angle was dropped when the couple was out of WWE later that year.

Sharmell joined Booker in TNA in the fall of 2007 as a babyface, but would turn into a villainess shortly after Booker underwent his own heel turn. She later joined her husband in the villainous The Main Event Mafia faction, which was led by Booker's former WWE rival, Kurt Angle. In her time as a member of the faction, the villainous Sharmell engaged in feuds with ODB, Taylor Wilde, Roxxi, and even Survivor cast member Jenna Morasca. Sharmell's tenure as an evil Knockout ended when she and Booker left TNA in 2008.
