Queen Princess (Slapstick)

Queen Princess is a Disney Sleeping Beauty analogue who sought to take tyrannical control of the cartoon dimension of Ecch. She appeared in Marvel’s Slapstick (2016) #5-6.

Story

The zany, crude, cartoon ‘in the real-world’ hero Slapstick travels to the dimension Ecch with a small allied group of  humans in hopes of ridding himself of his powers (mostly because he has no ‘dingus’ in cartoon form). Slapstick’s body is made from Electroplasm, giving him ‘looney toon’ like powers and indestructibility. The population in the cartoon dimension Ecch have a similar nature (males there also have no dingus). 

The new ruler of Ecch, Queen Princess, at first seems innocent and benevolent, if a little controlling.  She often breaks into animated movie style singing to tell her stories.  She keeps the population loyal by promising to figure out a way to get their “no no bits” back, but is also mysteriously procuring babies for them to raise.

Queen Princess persuades Slapstick and his allies to take down her enemy, the E.V.I.L. organization (which is actually a rebel group attempting to overthrow the evil Queen Princess). Queen Princess was a conquering tyrant, killing enemies and subordinates in a quest for her ’order’. She’s been melting down her adversaries and converting their toon essence into babies. She pits Slapstick against his best friend Mike in her death arena, calling them traitors to the realm. 

Slapstick escapes the death arena then comes across the decapitated head of the captured evil scientist supreme of dimension Ecch. He tells Queen Princess’ origin - explaining that in an explosion his decapitated head went through a window and into the lap a lowly scullery maid. The maid agreed to help him build a new body if he helped her take revenge on her wicked stepmother and stepsisters.  She mercilessly melts them down with the scientist’s equipment and then demanded he help her conquer dimension Ecch.

In the final battle, Slapstick’s allies use the scientist’s machine to de-animate the population of Ecch so that they can procreate again. This will also transform Queen Princess into a flesh & blood, vulnerable human. Queen Princess fights Slapstick, pulling cartoon weapons, including a sword, out of her cleavage.  They are evenly matched, because neither can be truly harmed. The machine begins to send out energy, de-animating Queen Princess in dimensional phase waves.  Queen Princess hurriedly negotiates with Slapstick to get him betray his friends, promising to give him his dingus back so he can rule and have sex with her. Determined to retain power as she becomes fully human, she rushes at his allies with Slapstick’s cartoon mallet. As she is about to kill them, Slapstick transports his mallet out of her hands and back into his. He throws the mallet into the Queen Princesses back, knocking her down, and then launches a barrage of mallets. While she is beset, a huge anvil topples off a huge pile of lab equipment debris. The anvil lands directly on Queen Princess, crushing her instantly, as Slapstick makes a ‘that’s all folks’ joke.
