Queen Maryon is the leader of the evil Sirenas, from Groo The Wanderer #50 (1989).
The Sirenas have been plundering material goods from the local villagers, in addition to abducting young girls to train into future warriors.
Queen Maryon and the Sirenas are defeated by Groo and her companion Chakaal when they go under cover in their lair. We see Chakaal enter the throne room where Maryon sits upon her great throne. When Maryon demands that her guards take Chakaal and feed her to the seals, Chakaal uses her sword to knock off her gold crown. The next frame we see a dazed Queen Maryon slumped over in her chair. Whether it was a fatal blow or not, we do not see. However, we are later told that the blow was fatal, and are told that the Sirenas are defeated and that they surrender.
