Queen Leora appears in the comic "Conan The King" issues 29 to 47, she is the Queen of Ophiria, and reigns over an army of amazons, allied to King Xanthaus of Nemedia and king Tarascus to defeat Tarantia, Conan's kingdom. Together, they have hired evil sorcerer Crassus, to plot against him.
She often threatens her sorcerer of several tortures if he fails. She seduces Xanthaus, and makes him his pet, thus taking the lead of the anti-conan coalition. Crassus's plan is to turn Conan's younger son against him.
After several battles, Tarascus falls, then Xanthaus himself. Being the only reamaining member of the triumvirat, she seeks alliance with Mage Calliastos and King Brax-al-Tar. Together, they capture Conan's older son, Conan, which they drug into falling in love with Leora.
Conan's friends come to the rescue, and they kidnap Leora, escaping trhough hidden caverns under the castle.
After several twists and turns, Leora, once again sole survivor of the baddies, comes to Tarantia, and attempts murder on Conan's daugther and her child, but she isn't that easy to kill, and Leora is the one to die in the fight.
