Princess Regina is a villainess from the 2001 comedy film "Black Knight". She was portrayed by Jeannette Weegar.

Summary[]

Regina was the daughter & heir & King Leo, the tyrannical usurper of a kingdom in medieval England. The protagonist, Jamal Walker, is sucked into the past, where he is mistaken as a messenger from Normandy, a neighboring French region. The messenger is to bring news of Normandy & England alliance, through Regina's betrothal to the Norman prince.

Before & after Leo invites Jamal to stay as a lord(w/ access to any woman in the kingdom except Regina), Regina begins to show signs of extreme interest in Jamal, likely seeing him as "forbidden fruit". When Jamal has the entire court distracted by dancing at a banquet, Regina pulls him aside & they begin to make out before Percival, the king's head of security(& Jamal's nemesis), interferes. Regina fades into the background at this. Just as Jamal runs from Percival, he accidentally run into the king, unintentionally exposing an assasination attempt & saving the king's life. After the banquet, the king appoints Jamal to head of security & when Jamal asks of the job benefits, he glances over to see Regina seductively play with her tongue, seemingly identifying herself as a benefit. Leo looks over as well, but only sees Regina playing innocent.

Later, after Jamal has an argument w/chambermaid & rebellion leader Victoria, he welcomes a woman only covered up by a blanket into his bed, believing it to be Victoria. The next morning, when the actual messenger arrives, the king & his guards march to Jamal's room for answers. To everyone's surprise, the woman is revealed to be Regina. As he has destroyed the alliance & deflowered the princess, he is sentenced to die on the spot. Regina is last seen attending his execution. As Percival has killed Leo & Jamal helped the deposed queen regain her kingdom, an out of power Regina has presumably fled into exile.
