Petal (Jordana Spiro) was a villainess from the 2011 film, Trespass. She was an exotic dancer and the girlfriend of drug dealer Elias.
Elias' latest score resulted in a $180,000 payout, but after it went sideways and Elias was left with nothing, he and Petal participated in a home invasion robbery; crashing the home of Sarah and Kyle Miller under the suggestion of Elias' brother Jonah (who harbored an obsession with Sarah, as Sarah had had an affair with Jonah). The couple, Jonah, and Ty entered the home in masked disguises and held the couple hostage, with their daughter, Avery, becoming a third hostage when she returned home from a party that she had snuck out of the house to attend.
As the film progressed, Petal's persona is fully established, as she is shown to be addicted to drugs. After removing her disguise, Petal was also shown in Sarah's room putting on one of her dresses, and it was revealed that she was also a mother to a young daughter, named Lily (whose name was among many of her tattoos), with the indication that she lost custody of her. Petal was also hellbent on killing the Millers, especially it was revealed that Kyle's safe was empty, but at that moment, Avery informed Petal and Elias about her friend's party, as the house had hidden safe filled with money. After this, Petal went with Avery to the home, and during the drive, the evil Petal ranted that she would kill Avery and later all the attendants of her friend's party to get the money and accused her of looking down on her. During her rant, Avery sped up and unhooked Petal's seatbelt before ramming the car into a street sign, killing Petal. Avery then made her escape after handcuffing the villainess to the steering wheel.
