Peggy Anderson (Tales From The Crypt/The Haunt of Fear)

Peggy (Amanda Plummer) is the hidden main antagonist in the episode "Lover Come Hack To Me" from the series Tales From the Crypt. The episode was based on the story of the same name in the 1953 comic book "The Haunt of Fear #19". The role, motive and fate of Peggy are very similar in this version.

Greedy, Charles marries Peggy but only for her money, planning to kill her and make it look like a robbery one night. On the night of their honeymoon their car breaks down and so they enter an abandoned mansion. That night Charles has a dream in which he witnesses Peggy's mother killing her father on the night of their honeymoon. He wakes up to find out that it really did happen. Peggy killed Charles with a medieval battle axe.
