Pam Randolph (Paula Giroday) was a villainess from "Protect and Serve", the series finale of UPtv's Ties That Bind (airdate October 14, 2015). She was an instructor at the Energy Yoga Studio who also used her profession to sell drugs, doing so to provide for her three children following her divorce.
The episode saw the Crestview police force investigating a batch of bad heroin that had put several people in the hospital, with detective Allison McLean learning from a woman at the park about Pam's drug business. Pam was shown at the yoga center packing her things in preparation of fleeing town, with her friend and co-worker Carrie helping her despite being frustrated that she was leaving on such short notice.
When the police arrived to bring Pam in, Pam became panicked and pulled out a pistol, holding Carrie at gunpoint and taking her back into the studio. Eventually, Pam agreed to Allison's request to release Carrie in exchange for taking her as a hostage, tying Allison to a chair and remarking that she felt she had "traded up" by having a detective as her hostage. As Allison began trying to reason with Pam, who held her at gunpoint, Pam revealed that not only was she not behind the bad heroin or the prior break-in at a bowling alley that was used as a front for selling drugs, she had also been threatened into working with a dirty cop who intended to take over Crestview's drug business (later revealed to be detective Pete Lee).
After Pam also revealed that she'd gotten into selling drugs to provide for her children, implying in the process that her ex was unable/unwilling to care for them, Pam agreed to release Allison and surrender to the police. But before Pam could be taken into custody, she was shot and killed by a sniper who had been paid by Pete to eliminate Pam to cover his tracks.
