Nomizu (野水) is a minor antagonist in the 2016 horror manga Pumpkin Night (パンプキンナイト) by creators Masaya Hokazono and Seima Taniguchi.
One fateful night, protagonist Naoko Kirino became a victim of a cruel prank executed by several bullies at a school dance. Chosen as that year's "Pumpkin Queen", Naoko was given a pumpkin mask to wear - the insides of which were secretly lined with firecrackers. To make matters worse, one of the bullies, Naruto Kuroki, decided to go a step further by also adding sulfuric acid and polyethylene bags to the mask. The prank leaves Naoko's face permanently disfigured.
Nomizu, a student council member placed in charge of the Halloween dance, happened to see Naruto (who she was attracted to) place the dangerous materials into the pumpkin mask at the time. After Naoko's face is burned and scarred, rather than naming Naruto as the culprit, Nomizu decides to help him by hiding the pumpkin mask before it could be examined.
Now on a murderous mission of vengeance, Naoko manages to track Naruto and Nomizu down while the latter has the former lustfully pinned down on the ground. Naoko drives a hook through Nomizu's left breast and hoists her up with some rope before knocking Naruto unconscious. When the male awakens, he sees that Naoko has rigged a trap where a wire will slice through his neck if the now-blindfolded Nomizu moves towards him.
After Naruto confesses to Naoko that he was the one who added the acid, the vengeful heroine drives a knife through Nomizu's skull, killing her.
