Nina (Rachel Grant) was a horror hostess for "Sci-Fright", which appeared on the Sci-Fi channel in the UK and South Africa. The program ran from 1999-2003, and Rachel was the thrid hostess for the show, serving for one season from 2001-2002.
Horror Host Nina, or Mistress of Distress as she was also called, was a deranged presenter who wore sexy outfits while appearing on the Friday night programming strand introducing the featured movie. She performed skits in-between the double feature.
In one such show she appeared in her shower, where her plug hole became clogged with what she thought was hair. After calling her buildings Mr. Fixit, it was discovered that the drain was clogged by the head of her ex-lover who she had said she tied up, sawed him in half, and then shoved his remains down the waste disposal.
In another she introduced her twin sister Wina, who she keeps shackled in the dungeon. She threatens to feed her to the neighbors.
She plays nursie in an episode where she attends to her neighbor Clause a Nazi who has just returned from South America. She later appeared with Clause again, this time dressed in a revealing black lingerie and thigh high black stockings.
In another episode she has kidnapped a traffic warden who gave her a ticket. As a result, she had tied him up and is dressed in a dominatrix outfit in her dungeon.
